What does your professional background look like?
After four years wearing many different hats in agencies, I transitioned in-house and spent the next six years diving deep into small to medium sized businesses + corporate environments across various roles.
My career path looks less like a ladder and more like a colorful tapestry woven with threads of branding + marketing strategy, creative writing, graphic design, event planning, media buying, public relations, and so much more.
Along the journey, I’ve had the incredible fortune of working within and alongside organizations to strengthen their operational foundations and development initiatives, while gathering valuable experience in human resources and team leadership. This unique perspective has instilled in me a deep appreciation for a vibrant workplace culture, fiscal responsibility + delivering meaningful results.
I’ve become something of a branding catalyst, helping propel businesses to industry leadership. From putting promising startups on the map to collaborating with authors on bestselling book launches and transforming marketing departments into powerhouse resources for my clients, these are the stories that fuel my passion.
Why did you start MINT?
MINT was born from my desire to create without constraints and to genuinely partner with others to help them flourish. Connection + collaboration aren’t just buzzwords for me. They’re my superpowers, and I get to wield them every single day. After 8.5 years of flying solo in business, I’ve now built a team that amplifies what was once just a vision.
What are your favorite parts about MINT?
Without question, the people! Our incredible team, the clients who trust us + our community partners who inspire us daily.
What does your day-to-day look like?
No two days look the same around here! You might find me deep in client meetings, guiding our team on brand direction, crafting compelling content, making business decisions, reviewing proposals, navigating sales conversations, and of course – tackling the never-ending stream of emails. So. Many. Emails! 😉
What is your favorite part about being a CEO?
Crafting a culture that makes me genuinely proud. We’re always evolving, but I’m intentional about cultivating an environment where our team can thrive.
What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
You’ll find me soaking up quality time with my family, either unwinding at the lake or traveling and dining at local gems!
If you could give one piece of advice to someone just starting to market their brand, what would you tell them?
Define what you stand for and the unique value you bring. This foundation will guide everything else and set you on the right path from day one.
Why do you think future clients should choose MINT Brand Marketing for their marketing needs?
While we value data and metrics, people always come first here. We do damn good work because we’re committed to being intentional, not transactional.
