Employee Feature: Kalvin

What does your professional background look like?

(Too) Many years of experience running the web division of an ad agency.

What brought you to MINT?

A friend and colleague of mine is a MINT client and got us connected.

What are your favorite parts about working at MINT?

Definitely filling out blog post questionnaires. (Working with fun people doing something I am good at and enjoy doing.)

What does your current role look like on a day-to-day basis?

It changes from one day to the next, but the overall theme is doing what I can to continually improve our web offerings so our clients have the most success possible.

What is your favorite part about your current role?

Getting to help build something – both internally and for our clients.

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

Spend time with my family, play volleyball and play computer games.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone just starting to market their brand, what would you tell them?

You only have so much time/space on most all forms of advertisement, whether it’s a TV or radio ad, print ad, billboard or even a social media piece. But your website can tell your whole story. So use that – gain the attention of your audience with other media, and have everything direct them to your website for the full story.

Why do you think future clients should choose MINT Brand Marketing for their marketing needs?

Because we can do everything from making small brand adjustMINTs, help bring straying brands back into alignMINT or even help with the developMINT of a new brand.

(Editor’s note: Kalvin has been issued 2 demerits for excessive MINT puns.)
