
What does your professional background look like?
I am a seasoned graphic designer with a decade of experience, including seven years as a lead designer as well as running my own photography and videography business. I specialize in both print and digital design, branding, custom illustration, and event photography/videography. I have played a key role in successful capital campaigns, helping raise over $8 million through strategic marketing efforts. My expertise in managing complex brand identities and collaborating with stakeholders ensures high-quality, detail-driven designs that connect with audiences. I am passionate about fostering strong client relationships and bringing a creative and strategic approach to every project.
What brought you to MINT?
Brand design was my first love in the design world and I’ve always wanted to be a part of the agency setting. When the opportunity at MINT presented itself, it seemed like a great fit for what I was looking for from a work and company culture standpoint. I had followed Amanda and MINT’s journey from the beginning and couldn’t be happier to be part of the team!
What are your favorite parts about working at MINT?
There are so many things! Of course, we work with incredible clients–I love collaborating with our team to bring those client’s visions to life. We all have different skill sets and many years of experience in various industries and I am constantly learning something new whether it is directly in the work I’m doing or from simply working alongside amazing people everyday.
What does your current role look like on a day-to-day basis?
My role as the lead graphic designer varies on a day-to-day basis–no day is the same and I love it! I have my hand in many different projects at one time, bouncing between brand and logo design, print collateral, internal design pieces continually strengthening and evolving the MINT brand–the list goes on! My role is currently hybrid so I am at our Fargo office three days a week and working from home the remaining days. There is never a dull moment!
What is your favorite part about your current role?
I love working with clients from many different industries and learning about their niches to better understand their goals. It pushes me to think outside the box and ultimately makes me a better designer. I push myself to try new things creatively and build upon my current skill set with every project I work on!
What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
I love to spend time with family–especially with my husband, Justin, and our two dogs. We live the country life and love hosting family and friends and of course, can’t get enough of the lake in the summer! There is always some sort of house project going on and woodworking has become a favorite hobby of mine.
If you could give one piece of advice to someone just starting to market their brand, what would you tell them?
Take the time to dissect your ‘why’ and feel confident in your mission, values, and what drove you to start your brand. Having a solid foundation is a key to success and everything that comes after will be rooted in that. We are here to work alongside you to craft your brand strategy, visual identity, and more!
